Mongol Leather Belt from Belorechenskaya (Village of the White River). Ulus Juchi (Western part of Mongolian Empire). Late 14th century.

Belt in Mongol-Tatar culture was a sign of a warrior's rank as well as of his bravery and luck. Only the bravest and the most gallant warriors of the Emperor's guard might have afforded rich belts with dragons.

The set was found at Belorechenskaya, south of Russia.

The price includes default number of pieces: Leather belt, buckle, strap end, one central big disc, 2 saber holders and 17 mounts.

Belt width is 25 mm.
