In Turkish language Çizme means Boots. In Seljuks Era, the great part of Seljuks army consisted of cavalry. They used this boots to protect their legs from stirrups leather. The ranks was identified with colors in medieval times. The yellow boots are used by the Cavalry. The red color was used only by top-ranking commanders and leaders. Asumani blue was used by ulema. This yellow color we use is the most appropriate for today's horsemen.
