The zıbın was the fundamental upper garment of the Mamluks — worn over a shirt and trousers in both daily life and training. The tiraz bands on the sleeves were among the distinctive marks of the Mamluks, symbolizing rank, loyalty, and honor.

The term “Culban” refers to novice Mamluks in training — young warriors learning discipline, strength, and elegance. This garment revives their timeless silhouette, combining historical authenticity with modern craftsmanship.
